tbf, Slut is not getting the best of him - he is a overlapping high speed full backI'd be wary of signing anyone from Bournemouth. Iraola has them well coached in a particular way of playing that is getting more than the sum of its parts. Look at Kerkez at Liverpool.

Scoring isn’t an issue atm and, while I think he’s a very good player, I don’t think he’s so clearly exceptional that we need to go for him before summer.
Who knows what wingers might be available come the summer.

Agree certainly that midfield is higher priority and think that the club/pep recognise that. We should only go for players in jan if they are our top targets anyway. Especially midfield, which has been the core to our success over the last 10-15 years and is not a position to settle for average

We need an Anderson. But we can only get him in the summer. Not sure what business is even possible in Jan. A defender won’t make sense when we still have Reis and Khusonov.Personally not sure we need to be going for him in January.
