Mendes only turns 19 next week while Robinson turns 24 in August, and the latter has a year of league experience under his belt. Robinson would presumably also qualify as home grown.
Were he to sign, I hope it ends the policy of playing right-footed players on the left or squeezing a centre back in there just to give them game time.
Yes it would be an end to that which would be good but it would also probably lead to players wanting out probably at a loss and then we would have to find a replacement who is less pushy probably either younger and less experienced or coming to the end of their career and the issues that brings and all most certainly not of the same quality
