Antony Taylor is the referee for the West Ham game.

Antony Taylor was terrible .
But what do you expect when a Rag in Greg Dykes in charge of the F.A .
Dyke and Riley have done grand job in kicking us in the balls this season .....

Terrible ref.
What p*sses me off is Fat Sam is moaning about Mangala on Downing. "Tried to clean him out" Downing hurdled the challenge and there was no contact. -OK he went for the ball and missed.
Silva gets a yellow for absolute nothing - Reid gets the slightest touch to his throat and then lies there holding his face , eyes , nose - etc. Silva won the ball cleanly.
Then the same player - Reid - jerks his body and falls in our penalty area with absolutely no contact at all from Mangala -and yet Fat Sam is moaning about "simulation" but his player twice - simulated - if that is a correct word.

Wasn't much of a spectacle - the game . Comfortable win

Another in a long list of piss poor performances from a referee in our games.

Fouls for shoulder to shoulder contact by Kun & Navas, Yaya's foul in the centre circle when he won the ball cleanly etc.... On the other hand Valencia in particular and 3/4 others diving all over the shop, Taylor could of course just be shit but the rag stories surely make him doing our games very iffy.

I could say that he reached the usual shit standard of referees who have stumped up at The Etihad this season, but I must let honesty prevail and say he was worse than that.

it's called the manager doing his job for his team and why Pellegrini pisses me off! for me coming out with "it wasn't a malicious foul" spits in the face of His own player Silva who had fractured cheek bone..

PELLEGRINI get angry and have a go at the referees because being NICE doesn't WORK...

The officials have absolutely done a job on us this season, is it a coincidence Dykes in charge now ? When are City going to start defending themselves , its getting out of hand now, I reckon we`ve been robbed of 8pts by these cunts but now we`re starting to get players seriously injured as well. It must be sol destroying for the players knowing every ref is against you. It needs to fucking stop.

Never a red IMO. If you've ever played a physical sport you'll surely know how you use your body to move into spaces. No chance he was deliberately aiming to elbow Dave's face.

it's was deliberate for me but aggressive and reckless play can still be a red card..

Ben Thatcher got a further ban, where's the difference?
The difference between the two incidents is huge. Today the lad just tried (a little too forcefully) to get his arm over and past him to get himself free into space and he banged one into David's mush; Thatcher looked and targeted Mendes and purposely stuck the elbow on him in an assault.
I'm sorry, but that's just bullshit. The lad struck Silva forcefully with his elbow, from above. That's as deliberate as it gets. You don't accidentally club someone with your elbow like that, you only do that if you are trying to cause damage. You might raise an elbow into someone by accident, but not strike downwards. It's indefensible.
He tried to get his arm over Silva and as he ran off banged him one. Even Pellegrini said it was an accident.

This sport is soft enough without fans demanding red cards for accidents in a supposed physical contact sport played by men.

Our lads didn't show any reaction to it neither, a few of our boys patted the lad on the back as if to say "we know you didn't mean it"...players know when it's meant and there would have been much more of a furore on the pitch had they thought it was a bad one.

Agreed. Player reaction is often the most telling.

If that had been a Utd player Rooney would have been spitting venom if the refs face suppose that's the difference between us and them.

typical anti City bollocks from our own fans as usual, Niall Quinn , Jamie caragher , Glenn Hoddle all ex pros said it was deliberate & a red card but no you`re right aren't you.

Can't believe people are saying it was accidental, it was 100 % deliberate.
MP did not confirm it was accidental, he said he hope it was accidental
Oh and Taylor is a rag Tw*t

Weren't it Frank Clark who talked about a 5th column inside the club?

Anyway, I agree... the club should do much more to defend themselves against appalling refs, slanderous pundits and journo's etc. We're too quick to just accept these things without biting back

Mourinho spoke out about the supposedly poor decisions Chelsea were getting from refs. Everyone called him a ****, but it worked. Chelsea and Costa in particular got away with murder after that.

It wouldn't have hurt if prior to the derby, someone from the club had mentioned Rooney's predilection for trying to influence and intimidate refs during games or Fellaini's frequent use of his elbow in the faces of opposition players.

We are too nice and it's hurting us.

See, I don't want us to resort to those tactics, or to drop to the levels of Rooney and Mourinho. We are City, let's do it our way.
