My two lads are in there mid twenties now and love laurel and hardy,watched them from a young age along with me and their grandad (my dad) there favourite would be the laurel and hardy murder case ..

So last night here in NZ after the races .. the new missus n me sat down to relax with some alcohol ..... on sky was a pink panther movie . (Can't remember what one )
.. I said to her this is funny ... a bit like Stan and Ollie .. she said " who ? ... never heard of them what do you mean are they like modern guys copying this pink panther guy !!!! ... Jeez ! Really ...

We had these two on 'the pictures' - The Empire on Factory Lane in the 50s. Didn't half get booed 'cos we kids were into technicolor cartoons! But I've warmed to them over the years.
