Any news at all on season ticket renewals ?

heard a whisper today that it could go up by £150 a ticket

personally i don't believe it for a moment as that is nearly a 30% increase

i can see them going up by £50 though

my rag friend got there renewal pack today, he was in shock no price increase but single match tickets going up £2 per game for those who dont have a season ticket, Having said that he pays £700 and it's not a premium seat so i cant complain if main goes up as it's still a lot cheaper

Platinum last year for me was 580 dont think I'll go platinum again if it's around that price again its fine by me

Towards renewal We'll be shown price comparison tables alongside some of the other bigger clubs in the Prem, but the likes of Arsenal attract fans from areas with an higher than average income.

We aren't the dearest, I paid £640 for my SC in East Stand Lvl 1 and think it's been good value... However if it starts going over £700 I will struggle to afford this, as I don't just see the cost of the SC, I see the cost of Food/Drink/Travel

and I have a feeling the club may prefer to reduce the amount of SC holders now we are selling out games, making more money on selling the seat per game

I just can't see a huge increase, these fella's know full well the vast majority of our support is local. working class & just cannot justify splashing out £700-900 for a season + Cup Games, they want to see The Etihad beamed around the world, full to the rafters....not 15,000 empty seats every week, just wouldn't do their image any good whatsoever.... They said when they came in that they respect the history of the loyal fans & want to keep that in place. I think it'll be a case of building the stadium up bit by bit and integrating new fans with the old guard,if they have a stadium whacked up to 80k in time, along with all this talk of hotels, restaraunts, attractions etc the money that brings in will more than compensate for massive price hikes....... they aint stupid, they know full well lots of us cant justify spunking that amount of dough

Gold,Platinum,Superbia could be a thing of the past,if what I hear is true, just back to structured prices, dependant on where you sit

platinum has been a godsend for me this year. ive missed 4 games all year. meaning my points have soared and I am now starting to get the big games on my own card. one more year of the same and ill be fine for every game we go to

There was a list recently, our average season ticket prices are lower than some Championship clubs so even a slight increase wouldn't be too harsh, but yes they need to recognise we're a still working class club, billionaire owners or not, so shouldn't go overboard.
