It's as clean as a whistle mate and i should know i have been up there a few times.

Robbo - a bit of advice if you would.

If you had £6k to spend on a 5 door, at least 1.6L, 40k ish mileage, diesel what would you consider?

No french though.

Kia - Ceed (good car, brilliant warranty.)

The French thing is a good point, anything French that comes to us and we might retail normally there’s a spend up to £500-£700 repair bill.

PSA Peugeot / Citroen manke the best diesel engines in the world hence BMW buying some of their diesel engine technology in 2008 in return for some BMW petrol technology.

You could pick up a 07/57 C4 1.6HDI (110BHP) EGS MPG about 55-60 mpg that falls under the B tax rating I think its £30 a year.

never said out about french diesel engine mate, but because you have its a shame because french cars are still shit even though the engines (diesel ones) are ok. and anything below 120 Co2 is £30 or even £20 per year tax.
