The mind plays tricks but from memory I went to either Leeds or Liverpool away and he got caught out and sent off. Pretty sure in the other game he made a mistake for the goal.

Shite. Him - not you!Robinho , world class rated striker but was only signed on deadline day to raise the profile of our club and was the epitome of the term "mercenary" , he joined for the money , not the project or the club or the manager. But his signing did the job because other star players signed like Yaya who actually gave a f*ck and were great signings , but Robinho will always be classed as a disappointment in my humble opinion, but he would have suited the Rags down to the ground , how many shirts would he have sold at the Swamp ?

personally think stephen ireland was over rated, he only became "good" when robinho had 5 men marking him and he got lots of space, he was a buzz at the time with the superman stuff,but his shooting star did not last much longer after robinho left
Cant believe no one has said goater yet, he was more donkey than goat, first touch was his last most of the time, but somehow he had a knack of scoring goals
He was a true enigma, the lads I went with at the time used to say it was like being 1-0 up but with 10 men. Dickov was like being 1-0 down but with an extra player.
