Mrs just brought home a couple of females. I have never had rodents before. Any pointers on what you need to do with them?

From what I read online, they are just fat bastards and you just keep giving them vegetation?

Try to ask a serious question for serious answers, but it appears everybody has missed the point. I was actually asking whether to use Oregano or Thyme?

In all seriousness, do you give them free reign?

No they shit every minute and love to primarily hide under cover.

Pretty sure all rodents chew wires too, so hopefully not too late and one of the serving suggestions above is the most relevant.

If you're giving them a shelter to hide under, put an extra tray underneath and perhaps even something cloth-like as they will mostly piss under there so it saves cleaning up.

My advice for guinea pigs would be as follows.
1. Stop squeaking and munching lettuce at all times of day and night in the house. You'll annoy the family who will re-house you in a cheap hutch at the end of the garden.
2. If you ignore point 1. above, refuse to be relocated to the hutch. It will be broken in to by that stray, starving boxer dog that's been hanging around for a couple of weeks - and your heads will be found in the middle of the garden in the morning by the distraut 6 year old child of the house.
