The vast majority probably had no idea why they were booing. Just following those around them & booing for the sake of booing rather than any specific reason.
S'all good though, he gave them a torrid time & got a nice assist to add to his growing collection.

yes it was big dave bamber and he was a lump.Loads of Blues taking the piss out of big lump Dave Bamber who then went on to score a couple I think ?
did he play for swindon town too..? i seem to remember Paul Lake nutmegging him(away match) in his own penalty area whilst playing right back,bamber lumbered up to Lake to close him down ,Lake quick as a flash, put the ball between his legs and cruised away down the entire length of the right hand side of the pitch,a brilliant, swift counter attack, he crossed for someone, think White to blaze over the effing bar.Lake was quality,absolute quality.
