any tips on " where not to go this summer".

If you've got kids then I can understand using them otherwise avoid IMO.

Why travel miles from home and be surrounded by the same old idiots in the local dive-y pubs? Most of the adults taking advantage of inclusive alcohol from early morning.

I may sound like an old bastard (as I am) but much prefer to sort my own flights, book a locally owned hotel so the money stays in the country (not some corporate chain) and to get some peace.

Love travelling far from the tourists but will admit I am a tourist and love to visit local sites just generally before the 'tribes' descend.

going to book a family holiday next week and would really appreciate places not to go due to bad experiences etc. got a budget of £1300 for three of us and dont want to waste it as we have not had a jollie for ages..
Depends what kind of holiday you want. Entertainment at night, scenery, lively, peaceful, caters for brits etc.
Does the £1300 include spending money?
