Anybody recommend a telescope that won’t cost a planet?

I’m looking to get one and know very little about anything, and even less about good, reasonably priced telescopes. Any advice, apart from BMR’s, obviously, will be gratefully received.

Depends what it’s for, if its astronomy you’ll need to decide on refractor or reflector, then on type of mount.

Sorry mate. I'm just a juvenile delinquent that won't grow up. If you actually wants grown up proper adult advice and I suggest you find the man called @snorky. He has a rather impressive telescope in his Observatory.And I'm not joking for change. Well maybe joking a bit; )

"The best telescope you can have is the one you use"

Telescopes are like Cocks, everyone thinks bigger is better until you actually get your hands on one.

My 12" is too big to get it out often (if at all tbh). If i had only 6" i wouldn't be able to keep my hands off it
