Jacob Rees Smug likes this.Always dressed victorian these ghosts for some reason!
Coughing could have been a sheep mate?Stayed in an old cottage in deepest Perthshire Scotland last Christmas/New year which had some weird shit goings on.
Me and the missus had the downstairs double bedroom, so the 2 upstairs smaller bedrooms remained unused.
Anyway as my missus got settled in bed I let our 2 German Shepherds out the back of the cottage for a piss. As I was locking the outhouse door and entering the hallway loud bangs came from one of the upstairs bedrooms, like a wardrobe being banged around. I thought it was my other half but when I popped my head into our bedroom she was lay in bed. I asked what was that she said "it was you wasn't it upstairs"?
No it wasn't I said then we both felt a drop in temperature around us.
I turned the lights on upstairs to check the bedrooms. The one where the noise had come from was untouched but freezing.
We both got in our bed downstairs and put the dogs beds in our room to feel safe.
But we were kept awake by our dogs growling at the door most of the night.
This happened on two more nights.
Also we had tapping on our bedroom window in the middle of the night on 2 occasions. The nearest other cottage to us was almost 2 miles away so we didn't have any neighbours.
Lastly on the new years eve I took the dogs outside with me say every hour as I had cigarette and every time I did I could hear someone coughing down the lane towards the small forest we had to drive through.
I would shine my powerful torch down the lane but saw nobody, the dogs didn't pick up on anyone either.
This coughing sounded like someone with whooping cough but it was about 6pm when I first heard it and I was still hearing just before midnight every time I went outside.
All in all an eerie experience but a memorable one.
That name disney ring any bellsis that you Walt?
And on blind faith like this crap, shut down for discussion, are founded religions.I was 16. A few of us was staying over at a friend's house, I had a dream that someone came through the front door and into the kitchen but I heard a door slam in my dream, as I woke up I caught someone going through the kitchen door and it slamming. Thinking it was someone who was staying over I went into the kitchen. Nobody in there, turned the light on, nothing. Wooopsy. Was awake with the lamp on until the sun came up.
I got lots of experiences like that but can't be arsed getting into a conversation about believers/non believers, that ship has sailed.
Quavers…There are a lot of things in the world we don't understand and quite often, like in dreams, we're capable of tricking ourselves due to our state of mind.
The number of people for instance, who feel like they experience something when a loved one has died which in my opinion is more likely to be because of their contemplative state and desire to see something familiar to remember and be closer to that person.
When you die, do you not get a choice of where you can haunt? I don't want to wait around some old, cold, empty building waiting for somebody to move in, so i can start banging on walls and leaving doors open to try and scare them. And i don't want to wear the same old clothes that I die in. Unless I'm wearing my best gear that day.
My brown Adidas LA Trainers... They're what i want to wear for eternity.
..I'm thinking ahead here...
Yep, and the banging around upstairs was the water pipes.I’m not surprised he was coughing if you were smoking a cig every hour.
