Anyone any advice for things to do in Cornwall?

How old are the kids and whereabouts in Cornwall are you staying?
If the weather is good there are loads of fantastic beaches, Kynance Cove (on the Lizard) Holywell Bay and Chapel Porth to name just 3. Couple of small theme parks, Flambards and Crealy (think its now called Camel Creek) may be worth a visit. We went on Segways at Goonhilly which was good fun. Tintagel Castle is fantastic if your in North Cornwall.
Just explore ..... loads of hidden coves and beaches.
Word of warning especially if driving down on Saturday. The traffic will be a nightmare and there are major road works on A30 at Bodmin that could easily hold you up for 2 hours if you arrive there early afternoon. We went 2 weeks ago and left Blackpool at 4am and were in St Ives for 11am. Well worth early start to avoid the worst of the traffic.

You're going to Cornwall with/or in a caravan....I had you down as a man of substance...anyway, anywhere on or near the Lizard or Lands end, the fishing villages have a charm unto themselves, Helford, Coverack, Porthallow, Cadgewith, always better during a storm. Cream teas and proper pasties. During the summer most coastal villages have their annual regattas usually involving getting pissed and wet, always a great day out.

Lands End , Lizard (Just to say you been there) , Hayle , St Ives, for the scenery. There's loads of tin mines if you wanna go deep underground. Also MInark Theatre near Porthcurno well worth a visit, and on a hot day if you leave Porthcurno turning left (as you look at the sea) go around the headland is a nudist beach which end with Logan Rock perched on the end of Treen.

Love Porthcurno, beautiful place.

I am just fed up of the med and fancied doing something a bit different! Quite excited.
