Not a chance i'd go in this current climate, I know its not all bad and the media make it seem worse than it is but its one of those countries where circumstances could change at anytime. Couldn't relax in a place like that knowing how unstable the place is. I picture things long term; if there was another military coup and they closed the airports, would I want to be stuck in Turkey...not a chance.

Strangely enough I was in the Bank this afternoon and someone I know had just asked for a load of Euros as they fly out tomorrow morning.Big no no for me I`m afraid and I don`t give a rats arse about "letting the terrorists win".
Fuck it the bastards have beaten me and the family then.I wont lose any sleep over that statement from anyone.Family always comes first no matter what.
Given the recent and on-going gang wars in Manchester i'd say you're more likely to get shot here.
A few of my friends have been to Turkey this year and loved it. My neighbour is going tomorrow for the third time this year.

an hour. one of the best holidays ive been on. we stayed at the sensimar andiz. google it. look at the reviews. food was stunning for an all inc. 15 min stroll along the front to Side town. class hotel.How long was transfer from airport?
ps. as it was all inclusive I only took 200 quid in their money. I spent 120 of it. I blew the rest in duty free.

I been coming to Turkey for 18 years loved every minute of it accept for the one day we had in Marmaris it worse than Blackpool
Similar here .... a day in Marmaris and Icmeler .... horrendous places. Been so many times since about 1994, Dalyan mostly, but also Kas and Kayakoy too .... beautiful places and met some great people there too .... Already booked for next June.
