Anyone eaten in a 3 star michelin restaurant

No that's real common, how could you get Michelle Lafuckinroux visiting if you had pickled eggs ? They have Nobbys Nuts and when the darts team play, corn beef hash.

Does anyone on here know if these places actually make any money or are they supported by outside egos. The start up costs, outgoings and expence of prepping these pretentious offerings just seem off the scale to a pleb like me.

Noma got in to hot water a while back because lots of their staff weren't being paid at all. They were on "internships" so they could put that they had worked at Noma on their CV. Some came from outside the EU and got visas (somehow) based on being employed with those T&Cs. The owner finally gave in and started paying all his staff at the end of 2022.

It's closing at the end of this year because they can't make it pay now.

Yes, I have eaten at a 3* Michelin restaurant, and boy did I embarrass myself. Asking for HP sauce is not the thing to do apparently. :-/
