Anyone else a bit fed up of football?

Sky has killed football in my opinion. The wall to wall coverage made it less exciting to see footy on telly. Made fans stop going to grounds. The analysis they did with pens and whiteboards after games birthed VAR. Ruined it.

Turn sly on at any point of the day and you have to be either deaf dumb or blind not to realise how aimed the propaganda is towards ushited n dippers being pro and anyone team underneath being peasants. Fucking embarrassing. Fuck off all you so called beauty queens like McQueen etc pretending to be pretty females when in fact you're all in on it. Just good at keeping straight faces. God I wish Andy dirty Gray was back giving you girls something to feel female about. OUCH

Yeah, VAR, IFAB, and soft penalties have killed the game. I'll still watch City on TV out of habit in the same way I celebrate Christmas as somebody who's culturally Christian but the days of going to church and singing the hymns and that are over for me.

New Zealand cancel their friendly with England due to lack of player availability and, presumably, the idiocy of flying all over the world to play a friendly.

So what does the FA do? Hastily replaces the opposition with Republic of Ireland. Sod the fact that game quality is decreasing because of players being knackered, injured, lack of time to work on tactics. Not as if there a pandemic either...

Talk about flogging a dead horse.

For the first time in a very, very long time I will not be watching tonight; a home game in Europe. Going out, booked a course at the local ed. Will follow scores occasionally on the phone. I will always be CTID but the thrill has gone. It's a bit like when I was in the army and posted abroad; just follow as and when. It has been a good ride but the latest shenanigans by rags and dippers, plus biased refs and VAR, pointless International breaks has finally done it for me.

Football on the telly is soulless , never thought i would miss a matchday as much , have always looked to weekends and going to Maine Rd/Etihad no matter how shit/great we were playing , i cannot understand for one minute how armchair supporters get excited about games. As a miserable git pensioner i do question if i will ever be back at a full house Etihad , its a pipedream at the moment
