It is nice to see mutual respect between a player and a set of fans for whom he doesn't play for. Better than seeing the vile, personal and often explicit abuse dished out by supporters to opposing teams players these days. I makes me ashamed to be a football fan when I see photos and video of people giving it out, veins popping out their heads, their faces contorted with hate. You don't get this in rugby, cricket or any other sport for that matter.

I know I'll catch heat for this but I think it's pretty obvious that Carlos is a Hammer and honestly it means nothing to me. He plays for us and when he does he never gives less than 100% so I could care less who he identifies with. Of course it would be nice if he eventually identifies with us but I'm not bothered as long as he gives his all for the cause.

Dont have a problem. Its good to see he has loyalties. There are far to many players around that forget what previous Clubs have done for their careers.
