Anyone else think we'll finish above the rags this season?

Here we go again, until the next defeat and then it's Mancini out! There's no inbetween with you lot.

United are one right back away from the best defence in Europe. Rooney is one of the top 3 players in the World behind Messi and Ronaldo. They have 12 players in their squad who are under 21. Players who have been retained by farming them out around the leagues to gain experience then playing them when they are ready. Macheda, Cleverley, Evans, Pogba, Bebe etc.. will be around for 10-15 years or more..if they can keep them from Madrid!

Many of your players are a short term fix. Yaya Toure will be around for 2 years max or however long the next manager wants to keep him for. I honestly believe that Ireland is a better player than Milner. And on saturday you had no attacking threat from the midfield. Milner doesn't put any fear in me, he's okay, but nothing like Lampard, Gerrard, Scholes class. Ireland had the potential to be, though.
 
on paper we can win the league

But I think we will finish 4th. the leaue will be close between Chelsea and Rags :(

All that matters is finishing top 4 these days. Local pride is secondary. City 5th and united 6th would be no use to any of us.

Well, one can hope. But both united and chelsea are machines, and have been so for many years. And they have a winning culture, and that is important. The little pea might turn out to be the signing of the year (value for money) for united. So we have to wait a couple of years.

Little poo? What are you basing your judgement on? Sky hype? And I didn't mention Chelsea, who I think will finish above us. But not the rags...

you dont know how long our players will stay...they might stay till the end of their contract ? dont know why a bolton fan? is giving it large lol focus on your own team fella.
