Wasn't JM a chorlton lad? What school did you/he go to? I went to Aquinas (now Loretto) so most of my school are probably now in prison ;(

Noel Gallagher - two years above me

Liam Gallagher - was in first year when I was in 5th year. (Year 7 and year 11 in this "new money/years" busniess)

Mark Lillis was at the same school only ten years or so earlier

Alan Mclaughlin - (ex Portsmouth/Southampton and Republic of Ireland....at same Primary & Secondary school and played footy with him for local team)

Paul Loughran (although it was Paul Ryder at School ????) - Actor that played Butch Dingle in Emmerdale and is now in Blue murder.
 
steve kinsey was a couple of years above me at my school
also mike milligan used to be in our saturday morning football team under 11's i think he was only 9 but you could see the talent

I met Giant Haystacks son at a party once. That's wierd. the party was in Bury somewhere and I remember he was into the Manchester bands like I was. Had long dark hair I think, and certainly seemed nothing like his dad...
