Players mentioned - well hundreds have been mentioned but not many that could see the world record fee go twice in a few days

My own belief, the signing statement to counteract the undoubted negative publicity from a decision to sacking Hughes.

Blimey June is going to be one to remember !! Everyone will say window doesnt open til 1st July so I assume all these will sign pre-contract agreements (ala Huntelaar / Diarra at Madrid in Dec ?)

Re baby - all this City stuff will become insignificant, let me assure you of that!

Do expect most to be pre-contract, although hear a couple had the ground work done on them a good while back!

If the rumours about Jose and 4 WORLD CLASS players signing on the basis of him becoming manager are true then I do not care whether you are in the Hughes in or the Hughes out camp you must surely see that Hughes has to go and Mourinho given the job?

People will point to him not staying at a club for a long time but I tell you what, clubs dont have get their moneys worth out of him while he is there! If Jose comes we will be challenging for the Prem league title within 2 seasons inc next season and knowing how Mourinho behaves he will no doubt say something to that effect in his 1st press conference.

I think Hughes is doing a decent job, I can definitely see a marked improvement in our performances BUT I still doubt he has what it takes to take us to glory. If he does take us to the top it will take maybe 5 years or more and while I would be happy with this WHY WAIT? When you have another manager available who will do it in half the time!
