Open question to all those so called ITK's. Fair enough if Mourinho came in and then signed these superstars then that's lovely, despite me being £50.00 down to what is an awesome charity (Supermans) so I don't mind that much. Back on topic, why would they sign for what is likely to be a simple top eight, top ten club? Why would they sign on the strength of the manager? It just defies belief.

Tell you what lads, give me a percentage. How confident are you that Mark Hughes shall be relieved of his duties and that he shall be replaced by Jose Mourinho? (that manager in particular)

CTID, Dont get me wrong I have reservations but mainly because I cant believe that we are in the position of even possibly having this calibre of individual at MCFC. I would be delighted if it hapened (albeit a little sympathetic towards Hughes as I feel he has done well as the season has progressed), but if we have a chance of these people we have to take it.

What % would you feel confident about from Tolmie and Rammy ?

If the rumors in this thread are anywhere near the mark any player coming in will be looking at manager and other player joining and be thinking that "this is the real deal Man City are building a team that will be winning silverwhare and top honours very soon. At the moment can I win all the top honours at the club I'm at now" ...... If they play for Barca or Scum they could say yes

but most of the other club it will be uncertain ..... AC Milan, Inter Milan, Valencia, Bayern etc etc

City/Jose - 70/30%


Being signed up as the richest club in the world defied belief.

As did, signing Robinho.

My own contacts certainly don't have windows into superstars' souls. All I keep being told is, 'They want to play alongside this guy, they want to play for this man.'

Does it really defy belief?

If I was a player and Mourinho took a job somewhere then immediately I would be thinking he has gone there because big things are going to happen. Mourinho has his pick of jobs so he would not take the City job for any other reason than to win the Prem and win the Champions League. If I had been approcahed while hughes was in charge I would consider it but I may not go on the basis of not knowing Hughes, whereas Mourinho would instantly gain my respect and just might make me sign on the dotted line!
