Why people even entertain the idea of this kind of stuff being true is well beyond me. Hughes is very safe in his job, i'm not sure why people would think otherwise. Since the Hamburg second leg everything's been so positive, he's the man for the job, it's as simple as that. We're moving in the right direction, although the away form's obviously been a real concern.
Don't take these rag wind-up merchants seriously, lads, come on. Even the people in this thread (and it is the majority, thankfully) who doubt the rumours are quick to branch off into the 'but what ifs?'. Don't even bother. Admin should just get rid of threads like this. Harmless, maybe, in a sense, but even by talking about the likes of Kaka, Mourinho and others we're setting ourselves up for another very public fall.
Let Hughes build slowly, and put together a squad of good, steady Premier League players that he trusts, then in two or three years, yeah, if we've broke into the top four (and it's a HUGE ask) these targets might be realistic. IIRC most of you took Ajay at his word, and look what happened there.
