Anyone met a famous celebrity and worth a post?

Regardless of all the stuff outside of the ring, Tyson must be up there with the likes of Jordan, Woods, Bolt, Maradona, Schumi etc. as one of the GOATs in their field, the guy was a destroyer, a weapon.

Were you scared? I would be!
I believe, young Mike Tyson from the 80s when he was tearing it up would have knocked out every heavyweight in history in their prime had they been matched up to him at that time.

Met Robert Plant a couple of times at the Molyneux. He used to sit in the Steve Bull upper tier where my son had a season ticket. Really down to earth bloke who loves his football

Saw Tom Baker in Heathrow at about seven in the morning twenty odd years ago. It was in one of those airport pub things that do breakfast and the group of five of us had had a few pints.
We greeted him by shouting 'morning doctor' and the miserable **** told us to 'fuck off.' I suppose it's probably not the first time, but I expect better from a timelord tbh.
Miseable old ****. You should have strangled him with his poncy scarf.

Had a Piss next to Trevor Brooking at Wembley c1984 in a 2-0 home England defeat to the USSR with Dasaev in the Nets, Sergei Baltachi at CB and Rodionov scored one of the Goals when Mike Duxbury made a complete **** of himself and handed it on a plate to the Russian.

Both beautiful in my 16 / 17 year old eyes.
Interesting fact about Linda Gray is that she was the "legs" in the great film The Graduate.
The director deemed Anne Bancroft's legs not suitable to get the viewers pulses going.... so the legs you see as she's taking off or putting on her tights were the legs of Linda Gray!

I never knew that!

It's mad just how seemingly useless information retained over our lifetimes is more interesting than 90% of the nonsense they drilled into our heads at school.

Might not be worth a post but here goes. school trip in the mid eighties to see Jimll fix it at the old BBC studios in London. Randomly I got picked by my headteacher to sit on the bean bags. Week later proud as punch sat and watched myself sat right next to Jimmy Saville himself. Moment of fame ruined years later when it all came out!!

Football manager who always used to walk round in a black crombie type trench coat. He was helping out with the Ireland team at the time of our meet/greet @Dublin airport lounge. We had a latte together and ended up talking about the book of kells housed at Trinity college and also the weather and a few other snippets that came to mind. Nice chap and very ameniable and friendly. He aproached me .. they always do : /
Thank fuck for that. For a minute I thought you meant another Bobby.
