If so it could be a broken finger.

I can be walking along and everything is OK then suddenly i get a pain right across the bottom of knee, if i stop and bend my knee it goes OK again for a while then it does it again........... no poking it with my finger :)

I can be walking along and everything is OK then suddenly i get a pain right across the bottom of knee, if i stop and bend my knee it goes OK again for a while then it does it again........... no poking it with my finger :)

Trapped cartilage? When you bend your knee it releases it.

sounds possible because its ok when i play 5 a-side then afterwards its sore and ache's, wonder what the best treatment is for it.
