derby's first away win of the season, scum's first home defeat
Wasn't that the game when Wanchope waltzed through (almost in slow motion) probably the best defence in the division at the time? And wasn't Jim Smith (great buddies with Taggart) manager of Derby at the time? Hmm.

wasn't it a malcolm christie goal,not sure.

It's in our own hands. The paranoia on here is getting out of hand. If we don't finish in the top four it will be because we weren't good enough and nothing to do with rag results. I don't believe Ferguson would deliberately throw a game, past results are more than likely coincidental.

We will finish in the top four though. No need to worry.
Exactly, from this position the only people who can possibly shaft us are ourselves.

it wasn't wanchope who got their goal, but derby did win 1-0 which effectively kept them up

I remember that mate, it was the other poster who asked if it was Wanchope who waltzed through their defence to make it 1-0.

I recall Wanchope ripping the scum apart at sold trafford and Derby winning a few seasons before that.

Keep Scholes and Gigs quiet and we'll do'em, let Scholes and Gigs run wild then we will have problems...Simple as!
