Anyone want us to go out of the Europa League on Thursday?

Winning breeds wins. The fact that we've pretty much scraped our arses though to a semi final could be just the kick start we've been needing. We've looked at jaded in recent weeks but thats because we've been struggling. If we can come back from 2-0 down and get ourselves though our confidence will be sky high and confidence towards the end of the season is worth more than fresh legs, just look at Spurs last year.

I'd love us to beat Kiev by 3 clear goals and then go on to Dublin
and win the thing outright, tho' i admit i do have my doubts.
It's a tall order but i live in hope.

As bizarre as this sounds, I still believe this competition represents our best chance. We'll definitely have to improve on the road (or through the air) if we want to win it though.

I could possibly understand if we were going for the league, had been in the champions league for ten years including winning it and had a trophy laden past history but fuck me we've won fuck all in my lifetime and im 31.

People wanting us to get knocked out of a decent enough competion are getting way ahead of themselves.

We could play a reserve team on thursday and then go wembley full strength and still get beat. Then where do we stand.

I want that fucking banner ripping down so i want to go for every cup competition full tilt.

I would never want us to lose/get knocked out of any comp, especially on Thurs but if we did it would certainly help our push for 3rd/4th...
