Anyone with mountain bike know how??

With bikes especially, the old saying is true - you get what you pay for. If you can afford to go for the one with better components, it will benefit you in the long run. If you have any more questions, feel free to PM me. I've been buying and riding bikes for 25+ years.

From what I can tell of these two bikes, there isn't really too much difference and as I always say, a new bike is never a wrong choice. Good luck!

Are decent V brakes alright?

I mean surely decent V's on a £300 bike should be better than disc brakes on a bike half the price?

Shit. Hard choice.

Which one has a gel seat?

They both have this seat, not sure if it's gel.

"Be like sitting on a razor blade" (you may not remeber that).

Personally I always change my seats to the gel ones mate, bike-wise I'm not expert but I'd have a little ride on them both and see which I prefer.

Yeah think i'll invest in a gel seat, especially seeings as i'm doing MCR>BPOOL next year.

Do you think this is worth the extra 50 sheets?
