The magistrate has gone well over the top. Everybody was too busy celebrating to even see you, never mind feel distressed.I didn't see many police there so for one to have captured it on his phone he must have been in the crowd so probably a blue the snide

Get legal help and appeal the sentence. Even the Taylor report said there is a difference between a malicious pitch invasion and one of celebration. Say you weren't goading the Villa fans but celebrating with the City fans who are right next to them. Also say you shouldn't be held accountable or made a scapegoat for every other fans bad behaviour, yours was one moment of madness in 20+ years. You pleaded guilty straight away and apologised and normally that goes in your favour. The magistrate must be a rag or scouser.
 
Challenge that shit in court. I think it will definitely be reduced. The world isn't right till racism gets a more lenient sentence than a friendly pitch invasion.
You could delay matches with flames, attack team buses and not get any bans but ofcourse this does. Weird.
 
Apparently City were in touch with my mates 18 year old yesterday. Images of him carrying a flare onto the pitch. I don't know the full details but my says his lad plastered pics of him and his mates all over SM with the flare and they referred to these as well.

"It was a moment of madness. Pure elation. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I have been going to City for 20-odd years, I'm a season ticket holder and I've never been on the pitch before."

City secured their fourth title in five seasons in dramatic fashion last month after coming from two goals down with 14 minutes remaining to win 3-2 and pip rivals Liverpool to the trophy.

After the final whistle blew, thousands of fans spilled onto the pitch to celebrate while both sets of players were still present.

Chair of the bench Wallace Johnson said to the defendant while imposing the ban: "What you did was deliberate and flagrant.

"You deliberately targeted the Aston Villa players on the pitch. You caused distress and alarm to the players on the pitch, the match officials, the stewards, the fans in the stadium and those watching at home."

Particularly as both the prosecution and judge tend to look down on it so any advantage you might have dissolves very quickly. Hiring a good brief can be expensive though.

Isn't this a very clear case of mistaken identity? And surely Meldrew can prove it. If Meldrew is the guy who was filmed on someone's mobile from CB lower north side — I don't know if it's you, mate — then it's during the match, he's not anywhere near Olsen, and he's not anywhere near the Villa fans, who were far away at our end (south side).
By the way, do I need to say that I absolutely deplore anyone attacking an opposing team's player or manager, whoever it is. You simply can't be having that, wherever the ground, whoever the people involved. We will go back to the bad old days of having high fences around the touchline if it goes on.
I also thought that those who climbed all over the goal at our end until the crossbar broke and the net was fairly damaged are utter bellends. A five minute pitch invasion would have been something (although I wouldn't have done it). It took about fifteen minutes to clear the pitch. But hey, that's just me.
