Not making up a story just trying to help you. On the link in this thread to Valencia web site it states his 'origin' as liverpool. My mistake if origin means previous club rather than birth place. But there is a contact to liverpool either way.

Abidol didnr play last night but villa came on at half time. its funny they wont let the bin dippers have silva

Probably just a typo but Abidol as far as I can see isnt a player, Abidal on the other hand is french and plays for Barcelona.
The guy we are linked with is Albiol, Spanish international at Valencia.
(sorry to be pedantic Bob but it would be easy to get some strange responses if your talking to people about Abidal ? Unless thats you breaking some new gossip ?)
