April TV Fixtures

The midweek of 17/18 April is free of CL or any other games so most likely to be on 17th Tue ... won’t be last home game ...

Most probably that’s why Sky has got us playing Spurs on Sat 7:45pm instead of Super Sunday game so we can play Brighton on Tue ... and then they’ve slotted Brighton on the following Friday ...

Well, we'll see, but under your suggestion does that mean Brighton having to play Sat, Tues, Fri?
Plenty of precedent for games slotted into that last midweek of the season. It's not some sacrosanct rule that the trophy has to be presented on a Sunday game, or has to be vs Hudds cos that's been down as our last home game all season. You could end up being right, but I'd say it's still far from certain.

Confirmed by the club mate ... doesn’t matter when Brighton game is ... the trophy presentation is at Huddersfield game ... they’ve been selling seats for £2500 a piece for that game citing topphy presentation (refundable, should we fail to win the league and there is no trophy) ...

I know lots of games get slotted for the last-midweek before the final weekend but that’s only when necessary ... out of the fa cup so no more fixture congestion for us except this Brighton game ... should Swansea end up in the semi finals of fa cup then that game would be the one played in the last mid week ...

It’s annoying, as it’s my son’s birthday the weekend of the derby but can’t make any plans for his party until the derby date/time is 100% confirmed. Don’t really understand why either team playing in the CL on the following Tuesday would affect it?
I think it’s because they’ve got the dipper derby booked for the Sunday. If, Dippers are playing in the CL on the following Tuesday, I’d imagine that would be moved back to the Saturday. Then, if us and the rags are playing on Wednesday, they can move ours, I suppose. They also have Chelsea playing on the Sunday and they could still be in the CL!

Ah right, I get you. Bit shit that though, means we won’t find out until March 16th.
We both might be playing each other on the Tuesday.

Not sure if I could take 3 consecutive games against them .

spurs is on 19:45 s all top 6 are being shown that weekend with BT moving tge scousers to 5:30 V bournmouth.....on grand national day, they have no fucking clue or regard either tv company.
Not sure you can blame tv for the scouser game. The Aintree meeting is on all afternoon so any time on the Saturday wouldn’t really work and the Dippers refuse to play on the 23rd of April (the Sunday) because of Hillsborough. This should really have been spotted last June when the fixtures came out.

19:45 KO at Wembley for Spurs? Wow. They don't give a shit about fans do they. No public transport then.

Ah, ok, understood, didn't realise about selling off expensive packages for the Hudds game.

Didn't realize how many players we've had score double figures in goals. Wow. We're going after Chelsea's record in the last couple of months!
