Are City a better all round team without Haaland?

We just haven't produced a system that incorporates Haaland properly...bafflingly given our manager. I don't see a difference in how we setup this year with Haaland vs last year with a false 9. The only real difference is last years false 9 dropped deeper and a bit more often.

That he's still a scoring machine with such a miniscule involvement is testament to his unreal talent.
I feel like they need to stretch defenses more often when he's on the pitch. If he's isolated with one defender he has enough strength to shrug off just about anybody and score at will. They seem to always slow down and try to feed him crosses when route one when they're on any kind of a break is probably a better call.

It will take at least this season for the team to adapt to Haaland and Haaland to adapt to the team fully. So were are bound to look more fluid with a team that has more resemblance to how we have set up the last few years.
Next year will see the full impact of Haaland.
The question is this season ,do Haalands goals make up for any drop off in team fluidity, I would say just about and we will see it most in C/L games hopefully. Don't think anyone is saying we shouldn't have him and no need for such a defensive reation to the question from a few,

I think we need to remember that we played against a pathetic Chelsea team yesterday.
Plus we didn’t play with a false 9 like last season. Alvarez was Centre Forward

You can blame that on pep...dipper style direct football can often result in possession turnover and he doesn't like losing control.

Imagine how good we will be once Pep gets the Haaland system spot on; you'd be a fool to think this isn't something he works on late into the night!

The team are more fluid without Haaland. Like we used to be with a false 9.

Managers and teams have worked Haaland out a bit, bar those moments of pure striker instinct that he will always have. 2 centre halfs doubling up on Haaland. And when Kev get’s the ball on the right to cross over to Haaland, teams are doubling up on Kev to stop those crosses that have led to so many goals for Haaland at the start of the season.

Pep needs to tweak his Haaland tactics a bit, just to mix up his movement and the teams movement around him.

But Haaland will always be one of the first names on the team sheet.

you said Haaland is easily the best striker is City`s history which he isnt?

Haaland has 27 goals in 22 games in all comps this season and broke multiple goalscoring records this season. The man is on track to score 40 goals in Premier League, which no player came close to do so before. Let's also not forget Haaland's outrageous stats in UCL as well as for Norway.

Aguero was a great striker, but he has never been on Haaland's level if we keep it real.

Ye but that’s 4 players tied up on two, so use the spare players better and it will click
