Are expensive headphones REALLY worth it?

Try Richer Sounds -

Richer sounds great. Bought some jbl wireless bluetooth headphones that work great with my phone and tv. £35. I can hear everything I need to. Great separation of each musical instrument. I'd only spend more on a pair if I was using for recording or some other professional audio need. I want my ears to last so I don't want bass frequencies so loud that my head will explode.

i've always bought the same pair from Amazon

I had a pair of these. Decent battery life and sounded ok to me. Not very durable though. I hung them over my headboard and forgot about them. Me and the missus destroyed them in two minutes between the headboard and the wall :-(

I've had some bose noise cancelling headphones for about 4 years they have been fantastic no idea what they cost now but can highly recommend

Thinking of getting a pair of Sodo MH5 with the twist-out speaker feature n mic.

I n response to the hundreds of replies to my above post, I ended up getting these this morning, MH11.

Tested em earlier on my turntables n also on my phone, ticks all the boxes for me so far.

I added the extra mic (turtle beach detachable)
