Yea, I was thinking about this before - we've always been pretty shit. If our national team had suddenly gone crap as our top division was flooded with foreigners then people might have a point, but there weren't as many foreigners knockin about in 94 and we didn't even make that tourney. And what about 74 or 78, how many foreigners were supposedly ruining our national team then?

No. Definitely No. It's got zero to do with it but everytime we lose this comes up. The Premier League is the envy of the World for god's sake don't ruin it! The National team is, if anything, a little improved since the Bosman ruling. England are about the 6th best National team and given all factors that's where we are meant to be. Numerous statistical studies have shown than the foreign players in the Prem have had zero negative impact on the National team but people choose to ignore the facts and still whine on....we've actually got a good team but that doesn't mean we will win The World Cup.
