Are Labour a total shambles now as an opposition?

Yes, they need new centre ground leadership. Pushing for a general election that they were never going to get, just made the conservatives stick together more and make the general public think they were just interested in themselves. He should have been the one asking May to his office in order to agree on a customs union deal. Even when she asked for a meeting, he should have gone, and as she was never going to shift from her deal, she would have been the one looking stupid.

so why doesn't she go for one if she is such a nailed on winner? Get rid of him once and for all? ...............oh yes I remember now - its not been a great tactic in the past

Why run the risk of winning an election and seeing Corbyn replaced by a viable alternative that might actually win an election 4 years down the road?

I thought she said she'd resign before the next general election? Or did that only apply to the next scheduled GE?

she said he would broker a deal - did so and now seeks to renege on it. Her word cannot be trusted here or in Brussels mate - pinch of salt time.

I hope not. A good opposition is vital.
