living in burnley most of my mates are burnley fans, the simple reason they said to me for not coming to the etihad last sat was “we’re sick of getting hammered off you every game” burnley have a decent support in fairness to them, but a couple of thousand burnley fans must’ve had the same thoughts? maybe covid plays a part who knows for sure? one thing is certain is thats the poorest away following from burn

Covid is definitely playing a part. I know personally at least 7 long standing season ticket holders at The Etihad who have either given up permanently or deferred their tickets for 12 months for a variety of different reasons. It wiill be exactly the same for Burnley and for clubs the length & breadth of the country. Pity about your mates who didn't go last Sat though as they missed their team putting in a decent shift against us.
