For so long I didn't buy into the conspiracies that all and sundry were against my club, but I have finally been won over, especially with sky and certain other media outlets. But, over the last few days, I have seen/ heard plenty of positives. Right now for example talksport are really bigging us up! Is it a coincidence that, at the same time as we are playing some of the most beautiful football this country has EVER seen the 'dirty lot' across the way are seemingly in decline?

Even the biggest, slimiest, dirtiest fucking journalist/pundit couldn't say any different as to what is being portrayed in front of them, they would me made to look rather fucking idiotic.....................................oh hang on....................there is time yet, wait till we lose one (hahaha, never),then they will be out in force, let's hope we don't lose to keep the cunts quiet all season, now that would be good

If you look back a few weeks, every dirtbag, rag licking, Sky 4 loving twat in the country tried to belittle what City were doing & bullshit the rags.

I think the first half v them followed by the Champions League game, & Jose's inept & miserable performance kind of set up Pep's coronation vs Bournemouth.

I switched on Talkshite last night & even Goldswine was actually running out of superlatives to describe City's play.

I think they are just accepting there is no point telling lies about it anymore, it really is that good.

If we keep it up, I think the whole profile of the club is about to change, worldwide. If we don't, they will knife us to death in the hope we stay dead, which we won't.

I don't believe there was ever an agenda against us in the mainstream media. The media looks for the best story. Last season that was "Moneybags city can buy the best players but they can't buy team spirit or success", which beautifully complemented the narrative of Leicester's success. With our current form, the best story is now" genius coach sets up city to challenge the best on the world ". That would have been the narrative last year had we produced performances to justify it...
The Yaya/Seluk saga might provide a brief detour into " uncompromising Pep is an obsessive who will get rid of players who disagree ", but the main narrative will be positive now as long as our performances justify it: neutrals well love watching us, and most media consumers are neutrals as far as city are concerned...

Thy're building us up for a fall. Waiting for their customary 3 points at Anfield and then they can go into full nauseating swing. Dippers will be the greatest thing ever seen in the PL.

Believe me they're waiting for their darlings to hit top spot. It could have been The rags, but they realise that that is not going to happen.
Beat the Dippers in Anfield. That will be our last hoodoo gone. Shut the lot of them up, once and for all.

Can't see a problem, watched both the chavs and the dippers, nothing to worry us here !

Why? If the dippers bear us and go on to win the league they surely deserve it...
And until we take points off the other title contenders (as we failed to spectacularly last season) we don't deserve an unconditional love-in.
It's hardly a conspiracy - journalists simply don't see our club as we do. And nor should they.

Not one single mention of the league leaders!!

There's definitely been a discernible shift in the media's disposition towards us this season. Without a single doubt, in my opinion. It's not just the words; there's finally a widespread tone of respect in their voices. More media types are starting to sense which way the wind is blowing.

You are missing the point though. I would say by the media's own standards of how they etnormally deal with City, they are positively licking our arses.
It almost obsequious despite everything you say above. I think they are OTT in some quarters because quite frankly, Liverpool have had a better run of results playing decent football, Burnley aside.
Do I trust the media in this? No I don't.
I don't pay any attention to them telling me this City team is playing football that no one can live with, no more than I pay any attention to them when they write liable about them.

My point is. Let's see who they will be willing over the line when it comes to us and Liverpool. It will be 2014all over again.
