Are we 3rd best?

we are deffo not favourites!,an if you think we are,you need to take off those blue tinted glasses, the rags have yet to move in the market, and chelski will be strong under jose...we have an untried manager in england, and our squad is short in two areas...its gonna be a lucky lucky bag when the season starts,it could go any way it wants,we need to stay strong early, cos its gonna be close....just hope mr pellegrini can get em together quickly....i have my doubts, but will hope we are in there scrapping!!

The bookies have us as joint favs with Chelsea, & Utd 3rd.

The only top 4 team to significantly strengthen is City.

Moyes looks like he's out of his depth and he has the Rooney situation to resolve.

There's probably no one on here with less tinted goggles than me. I tell you now though, we are favourites and with good reason.

I think this season will be won and lost by which of the three new managers is the most adventurous in tactics and I believe our man Mr Pellegrini will be that manager. The squads of City , Chelsea and United are similar in first team strength but i think we just shade it overall in quality and in depth. I do believe we can win it , everyone seems to discount us but have the issues that caused Mourinho to leave Chelsea gone ? is David Moyes going to be in total charge or will S.A.F interfere , and is Arsenal calm behind the scenes or is the Board room still divided ?.
My Prediction, City, Chelsea, Arsenal, United .Liverpool, Spurs
Do hope im right !

You have your grammar/punctuation head on today, don't you?
It's just not fucking difficult to work out what is a contraction (they are = they're, you are = you're). And people wonder why the country is down the pan.

I get people sending me CV's all the time with these mistakes on them and instantly bin them. Everyone is allowed a typo, spelling the odd word wrong is totally understandable but there is no excuse on "their, they're and there" nor with "your and you're".

You where not sent to Ladybarn Secondary Modern - 44 in every class for every lesson for 5 years .

Knob .

*were. Sorry, awaits knob insult...

His?

It's a play on the possessive use of your when the poster means to write you're. Bit like writing "would of" instead of "would have". I mean why, just why do people do that?

Why so many putting Chelsea ahead of us? We are better than them squad wise and absolutely swamp them in midfield every time we meet...

The only thing im worried about them is the hazzard, lukaku setup they where linking up soooo well and lukaku cant stop scoring :S. baby drogba is going to tear the league apart next season :S ;<

I am happy for the press & everyone writing off our chances and only talking about United & Chelsea... As the pressure will be in them and not us !!

IMO I honestly believe it is a 2 horse race between City and Chelsea, be easier to choose a favourite once the season starts.

I can Arsenal getting 3rd if they get a good striker, I can't see Moyes getting the same luck as Fergie did with the players he has... and he has zero chance attracting the big names as he has zero reputation in Europe.

The scum have weakened .... regardless of players or who they buy, the loss of Fergie will have a monumental shift throughout the club. United always played badly and won. Under Moyes they will play badly and lose. That will be the difference. This season ..... 3rd.

Chelsea, shoot themselves in the foot. Mourniho isnt that special anymore and now he is up against 3 or 4 more clubs that are just as strong as his team, rather than just United the last time he was here. This season .... 2nd.

Liverpool .... shit. If they lose Suarez they will be lucky to get 6th this season.

Arsenal .... if they get Suarez, he'll get banned for half the season for something, so will be fighting again for 4th with Spurs.

Spurs .... they need a top, quality striker and try to keep hold of Bale. I'll tip them for 4th or possibly 3rd this season.

....

Depending how Pellegrini fares in the few first games, with the strengthening in the squad, I'd tip City for the title. (going off the current squadlists and managers in place now).

....

one to look out for ..... Swansea .... if Laudrup stays and exit Europe early I can see them clinching 5th.

united have weakened, ferguson gone, some key players getting older, rooney wants to fuck off and whove they bought? wilfrend zaha and varela, not exactly game changing players like rvp was last year

and weve strengthened more than you think, we didn't go out and get better version of what we have because our style quite simply didn't work last season. that's why weve signed a pacy winger which was needed, a pacy midfielder which was also needed. jovetic can beat a man which we also lacked last season and negredo scores which we couldn't do last season (althought we didn't create many chances for our strikers to do that)

I think our biggest danger is a slow start... Pellegrini's tactics can take a while to implement and we're already seeing in the friendlies how slow it can be, with the team still looking Mancini-esque in how it plays. But we have a decent start to the season and can hopefully be in top form by the derby.

I've got a feeling it will take us a little while to get into the season.

As far as I am concerned we were the best team in the PL last season, we had motivation issues and loss of form at key times but overall I think we were the best, this season we will be much better, the Rags will be third best..
