Are we currently worse than last season without Tevez?

I think we'll do just fine. But then again it's a matter of opinion . . . what's yours and why do you ask? Is this supposed to be a survey or are you keeping your opinion close until you've judged the consensus?

:-)

But if we didn't, considering the influence he had in games last season, should we adjust our targets accordingly, unless of course we sign a player of similar quality?

I think we jelled well as a team without tevez towards the end of last season.
We'll miss his goals but hopefully we'll make them up through silva, balotelli, dzeko yara toure + who knows??

We proved last season that we could play and win without him, but when you look at his goal scoring ratio, he was superb

No point in trying to keep a player at the club against his will.Tevez has been good for us, in giving his best every game, scoring some memorable goals.
But, he doesn't want to stay. His departure to pastures new is now iminent so we must move on and make sure we sign Aguero, who can become better player for us than than Tevez. Heres hoping.

We will be better than last season simply because the players will pull together more as a team, team spirit seems to be brilliant and the experiences of last year will have taught the players how to win the big matches. The way I see it if we didn't bring in any replacements we would still be better than last year, if Tevez stayed better still, with the new guys I think we will be better but get stronger after Christmas when they have settled in. I am looking forward to it.
