Are we going to win the league?

I refused to give up hope after Arsenal away last year (despite being hugely pissed off) so not a chance I would write us off until it becomes mathematically impossible

Can't see the RAGS dropping 7 points in the last 14 games so no chance.

Last 12 results - 10 wins 2 draws! Not a f@cking hope.

There's not a chance we won't drop at least that amount imo.Jesus!Ye may have won the league last year but yer not half green when it comes to title races still. There is 42pts to play for so in a sense the title is still in your in grasp if ye are good enough to win all yer games.Personally I think 87 pts will win the league this year and United will beat city in Old Trafford to clinch it.

Can't see us winning it from here, but I said that more than once last season.

Of course we are green the last time we won it aside from last year was 1968,lol!!

The closest after that was 1977,35 years ago, most people on this forum probably weren't born!

Our hope?...Van Persie gets crocked.

Don't think so, not this time. Need to make sure we finish second though. I think we'll be worthy runners up with our defensive record, just didn't have the goals to come out on top.

Ffs there are still so many points to play for. United ate nt paying well but scraping results and tbh I actually don't think they can play outstanding for 90 mins for sone reason -

i have us for the win on sunday and united down for a point which will pull us back to 5pts 'can be a tricky place fulham' i think we will turn them over at the swamp so add them now and were chasing 2 points, i do really think we will do it 'just' on goal average again

No.
They will win it for 2 reasons. 1) RVP - he has been the difference. They have been alot more clinical than us. 2) Luck- Again they have had the luck on thier side. Most of our games we dominate yet draw or win but with thiers, the opposition they play tend to have as many goal attempts as them but they sneak it, usually by being more clinical. But also major decisions in thier favour at Pool, Chelsea etc have helped them.

But you cant win it every year and the important thing is to finish in the top 3 for automatic CL qaulification (due to our lack of seeding we would have a real tough game if we finished 4th).
Then learn our lessons from last summers transfer dealings, have more off the books as contracts are up ie bridge, Santa Cruz and strenghten the team/squad where needed and challenge again next season with a stronger team/squad. (Plus no african nations next year)

And they won't make their squad stronger ???? In theory if their current business plan works according to these new FA rules they will be able to do more in the transfer market than us ( Chelsea are fucked )

I fear we blew our chance this weekend by not beating QPR as we should have if we weren't so wasteful. We were really starting to apply some pressure and had we beaten QPR, who knows, United might have buckled under the pressure tonight when they were outplayed by Southampton but won. Let's see what happens, we can only pray but we'll soon start to run out of games. Wait and see what happens in the games around United vs. Real Madrid (including Everton home, QPR away, West Ham away), if they don't drop many points there they will win the league at a canter.
