Are we going to win the league?

The difference is that United have the two best players in the league in Rooney and van Persie.

I think it's that simple.
So van persie and Rooney are better than hart in net or better than kompany at cb or yaya in midfield.

There not the best players in the league. Maybe you could argue they are In there position although I wouldn't swap either for Aguero.

I can't see it to be honest. The irritating thing is that whenever we cut the gap, we have a setback. Before Xmas they drew away to Swansea, 6 point gap cut to 4, then we lose to Sunderland on Boxing day. 2 weeks ago, last minute Dempsey goal, cuts gap to 5 from 7 points, then we draw to QPR. We can just never really capitalise whenever they slip up. The rags will drop points, but so will we.

Absolutely right ....

we keep failing to make any REAL headway on them , and now the gap is ten points with no guarantee whatsoever of a City win tomorrow ....

like I've previously said on here NO title winner in the recent past (maybe beyond) has lost more than six games .... and you can't see the rags losing many more than they already have.

Is the parade on Monday?....and will anyone turn up this time?
What has this got to do with Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie being the two best players in the league...?

You have an argument for Van Persie but Rooney is too hit and miss to be called the second best player in the league. Suarez may be an utter **** but he's a better player than Rooney.
Aguero is having a poor season by his standards but he's better than Rooney too and that's without my blue tinted specs on.
He's the best at shagging grannies and getting humongous pay rises though so bully for him.

Mancini & Platt cocked up the start of the season throwing the new signings in too soon, we are not direct enough & fail too kill teams off, try to score the Harlem globetrotters goal, that's great if yer already 2 nil up, not ruthless like last years free scoring team.
I think its beyond us this season now, all about next season now, baconface can have 1 more title & that's it,

Apparently no team in the history of the premier when top in February don't go on to win the league! If the scum don't win the league this season it will be one whole mighty bottle job

50 odd years of supporting city has shown me you have to believe despite what seems to be the obvious-
won't it be the most brilliant thing to go and win it now! - just think how those raggy b's will feel when we do -
it just takes belief
All i'd say is Gillingham, QPR - need I say more! Belief.

No problem. Three points against the dippers tomorrow then it 's seven difference they're in Europe we 're not we beat them at the swamp it's down to four anything can happen - believe!

Rooney and RVP are on fire at the moment, and I wouldn't argue with the Utd fan that they are the best 2 players in the League at the moment. They have had to be.

Not sure if that's a strength or a weakness. Probably both. The season is just about to enter the stage when teams like Utd play twice a week. Let's see if they can maintain their form then. I doubt Ferguson will play them in some of the league games, and that will be our chance

Its looking unlikely BUT as we all know football is a strange game. I feel we will need to be within 5 points of them around the 30 game mark to have a slight chance. I just cant see them blowing a 7 or 8 point gap with 8 games to go this time around.

It only takes a couple of bad results on the spin for them to change the whole picture again as long as we do our job. They play Everton and QPR next which fingers crossed will see them stutter (especially with Real Madrid in between).

We have a tough run in March/April with Chelsea (H) and Everton, Spurs and United (A). If we can come out them unscathed and beat United that should stand us in good stead for the last few games.

No room for error City starting tomorrow
