VP is not an out and out striker and LOL at Defoe. The grass is always greener on the other side...
Set means naff all when it's only one up front, you need to compare our one up front to other sides one up front and we are lacking a little bit.
Tevez is a fantastic player but would i prefer him to play just behind a Drogba or Torres, yes i would.

So would I, but I would also prefer to have Ronaldo on the wing instead of AJ. The fact of the matter is we can not have the absolute best.
The fact is Tevez with Adebayor/Ballotell is good enough to win every competiiton we enter

Exactly - SET just means successive managers have bought too many strikers which leaves us in a daft position of having hangers on who won't leave as they are on huge wages. get rid of them all and have 1 Pure Class striker with tevez, Silva, YaYa feeding off him and there's the recipe for success. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to say it... Rooney, Berbatov, Owen, Hernandez, Marcheda (and not even including Diouff and Wellbeck!).
We have some way to go yet to have a real attacking threat.

You may LOL at deFoe but he does the striker bit well. Gets shots on target and stays in and around the box. when did Jo last have a shot? Ade? they never do......thats why they're shite................

But we can have all the stikers in the world and if Manchini insists on leaving them on the bench it wont make any difference.
I thought we had bought silva to be a creative force against teams which stick 11 men behind the ball and yet worryingley for him and us he has played about 10 mins of Premiership football this term..We needed Silvas creativity in the ctr today. I a big supporter of Manchini but I was so dissapointed to see us struggling and Silva sat on the bench.
