Are we living in a dictatorship or a Democracy?

Dictatorship or democracy??

Wait, I thought everyone voted for 'the grown ups in the room"?? Aren't they the ones deciding/ defining your fate??

Nowadays, I can hardly tell between them...
The dictatorship is not so much government as the media (Murdoch). The media control and create an environment where a labour leader will only be 'electable' if they protect certain interests.
I'd like to think Murdoch's imminent death will perhaps liberate our democracy, but realistically the media machine he has created will probably live on.

I'd go for managed democracy. Where sensible grown ups deliver the same old shite but debate the nuance of difference civilly. See the plethora of centrist podcasts ; Campbell/Stewart, Osborne/Balls etc.

Wait, but if the popular MSM is the Gov voice because the billionaire owners are cosy with the Gov...

Isn't that my argument...??

People aren't going to get a true democracy it just doesn't exist. And it isn't a dictatorship contrary to the over reactions of some.
