He was awful tonight but clearly isn't back to his best yet. That own goal was cringeworthy, Villa fans had a right laugh and sing-song about that. I've never felt Barry is really cut out for the Champions League BUT he is one of the smartest and most useful Premier League midfielders and we need him back to his best ASAP.

I agree Barry was crucial to our success last season and he has been missed but he had an absolute shocker tonight, which we couldn't afford with two kids alongside him in centre-midfield.

Spot on. That central midfield 3 that started the game were very poor. Worse than the defence and errors by those players were costly

Difficult games for Suarez and Razak. Ideally they'd come into a strong settled team. There was too much onus on them tonight

Unfortunately 'missed' that one mate - understandable really as I get panned here for saying Barry and Lescott are not good enough! Cant wait for Messi & co versus the pair of them - if only to prove my point of the last 18 months!
