Are we not in transitional phase too ?

God help us if Pellegrini was to actually win the double in his first ever season in the EPL. The pundits, press and the rest of the broadcasting media will claim anything less than the quadruple next season and not only will Pellegrini be for the nackers yard, but Sheikh Mansour will pack up and be long gone.
If you think about the double standards and the impossible expectations that are placed on MCFC compared to the other (darling media friendly) clubs it's really quite pathetic.

Not only are we the only team not in transition we are also the only team not to have played attractive entertaining swashbuckling football scoring loads of goals along the way. We've also not been on a great run but I always seem to hear we've been struggling recently (for 9 months infact) I've yet to hear anywhere other than on this site that we have beaten the all time goalscoring record in a season. No its only Liverpool that have played great football, only Liverpool have scored loads of goals, only Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling have entertained the masses. If we end up winning it I'm really not sure yet what the fuck they are going to say about us as I just don't think it's crossed any of their tiny fucking minds.

Yep, spot on. Liverpool have had the best attack, by far and away, proven out by the fact they have unbelievably managed to score an amazing 3 goals more having played only one game more

Unbelievable!

I genuinely believe that if we win the league this year we won't get the respect and praise that we deserve

And quite frankly I couldn't give a shit

The whole media will go into mourning, the candles will be out in force and the samaritans will be inundated with calls from shrieking dippers.
The world cup will very quickly be brought to the forefront if we win it, and this years premier league will be long forgotten.

If we win it on goal difference I'm seriously expecting a rule change the following season. That'd be the second time and both against the games media darlings and something would have to give to stop it happening again. Cue the bullshit that it can't be right to win it on goals scored.

They won't wait til next season to enforce it; "A team can only win the league on goal difference once every 5 years"

A Play off at Wembley sounds more realistic.
