Are we relying on Tevez to much ?

Lets face it Carlitos has won us the last two games in the league with his goals.

Surely we need other to step up to the plate in terms of goalscoring ?

We simply can't expect him to score EVERY game.

I see no signs of other players actually threatening to score though.

Discuss.

I no exactly what ya mean, I thought this to. Tevez will score goals that win us games because hes a forward, I think city are a team that relays on single players I can remember Elano,SWP are just two!

Well Yaya scored against Wigan, that being the most recent of several examples.

Look who made it ?

until the defense takes clean sheet you do not need to score many, it is enough 1 per game.

and anyone can score. not only Tevez.

As much as I hate to say it, the scum haven't done too bad the past few seasons relying on one player; Fatty last season and Tranny the season before.

Fabregas does it for Arsenal too. Every team needs a talisman & Tev is ours.

We also have players who are more than capable of stepping upto the plate to take the heat off Carlos.

Don't forget we've been down to just Tevez as a first team striker, with Jo and Guidetti as backup. And to be fair, Jo has found the back of the net too.

Due to injuries and matches every 3 days, we've been forced down a route of playing a certain way. We are lucky in that Tevez is such a formidable player - he's naturally a threat to any team, even when their cheating slimy centre-back doesn't have a turning circle akin to that of the International Space Station.

But I do see what you mean in a way - Silva will need time to adjust but is looking better every game, and we could do with Milner finding the net soon too. But you can't fault their effort. It will all come good soon. Plus, Ade is back now and Balotelli hopefully back soon so hopefully they can chip in too.

Yes I think we are but I'm not too worried about it as he is more than capable of the responsibility. If he was to get injured we would need someone else to step up which I'm sure they would. I'm really excited about seeing Balotelli back on the pitch.
