So last night (my first game this season) I saw bags not allowed and it cost £10 for non SC holders, and £5 for SC holders to store your bag.
This is blatant profiteering.
If it is for security measures then why make money out of it.
Stop whining

YEAHStop moaning
No ruck sacks allowed in whatever the size. Just small hand bags and small tote bags, bum and shoulder.
LOL sorry to laugh it was on the approach we were accosted. i would imagine the same gimpYet they make this years programme 2cm bigger than last years (by having an empty border around each page!) making it impossible to get in my small handbag without bending - and make the champs league progs twice the size at A4! I guess they want people to buy the prog in the rain and just let it get wet on the floor under the seat?!
(I don't actually buy the champs lge progs, but still thought it absolutely daft they make the progs huge while shrinking the bag rules. Typical city as the old saying goes)
First match of the season i took the city handbag i've took for the last 3 seasons (since they brought the new rule in), a bag that is clearly under A4. Some steward on the outer gate shouted and shouted and practically rugby tackled me to a stop demanding he measure it, and that i empty it so he could check contents. This was while people with bigger bags swanned past, inc kids with kid backpacks (which i thought were banned). It was the heatwave match and i had a lolly in one hand (!) and was made to empty the lot, then he just walked off, while i dripped a lovely lolly all over my phone, medication, sealed bottle of water, programme, and purse struggling to get it back in one handed!
Yes, i know, who buys a lolly ;) Just thought i'd mention the incident while this thread was bumped cos it really got my back up. The bag was clearly undersized and always gets in no prob. Just a jobsworth :(
Not really, I have been whining ever since I started this thread. The post you replied to is over a year old. It feels a bit harsh to respond to it so negatively after all this time.
Leave you bag at the hotel and collect it afterwards? So lets say you are staying over as you have travelled from Belfast, you have checked out of your hotel and are going to the game. Sometimes its unavoidable
