Are we winning any silverware this year?

[I'm no cynic but...]

We're in a cup final and still in with a chance in the other three but do our performances fill me with confidence not at all and it's not kneejerk even when we have won recently it's not been at all convincing.

Then again this is City so fuck knows.........

If that happened then we could still claim the words "Typical City"!

The standard is so poor this year I still think we will pick up a couple of trophies. This team, and I use the emphasis on team, is not a patch on the side which won the league in 2012. Arguably we have better players, or players with better reputations but it is not transmitting to the pitch. Difficult to understand how sides like Leicester and West Ham have less defeats than us this year. By the law of averages you have to think as the seasons end gets closer these players will focus themselves, perform relative to their ability and that should be enough to clinch silverware

De Bruyne. I feel Otamendi would be better than Lescott if he consistently had Kompany next to him. Apart from that, it's slim pickings.

More strength in depth and options than we had in 2012. We have wingers like De Bruyne and Sterling as opposed to Adam Johnson. Like I said players like Otamendi have much higher reputations than Lescott but that is not being transmitted to the pitch.

We had Tevez Dzeko Baloteli Johnson De Jong, the team was way better then. Also have to factor in Silva, Nasri and Yaya were all in their prime.
