Are we winning any silverware this year?

You`ve beaten me to it,as I was going to ask the same question.I seldom run our club down but after todays woeful and inept performance, questions need to asked whether the team itself wants to win anything.
Knee jerk reaction ?? Certainly not.Other than our cup matches when was the last time we really played well as a unit in the PL?
As soon as I saw the team selection I was not assured of anything positive.Sorry he`s been a great servant for us bot Demi is nowhere good enough and should have been replaced by Sagna at centre half.
Don`t get me started on our WORST left back Kolarov. The best crosser of a ball my fucking arse.He got two decent crosses in but other than that every cross was cut out from the first man.
Yaya >Arrrrgggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. The guys having a nightmare season and for all the positives that he`s given us all these years,we cannot allow to be sentimental.
He`s not the only one and I am sure as fuck don`t have a clue who we would give from our team todays MOTM ?
We lack drive, passion and a work ethic that should have been on par with Leicester.
I sincerely hope that Leicester win the PL as we are a good few strides behind them and they deserve all the plaudits they are given.Well done Foxes and time to pull your finger out City players sooner than later otherwise we wont be polishing any of this years potential trophies.

We had Tevez Dzeko Baloteli Johnson De Jong, the team was way better then. Also have to factor in Silva, Nasri and Yaya were all in their prime.

No arguments the players were in better form then, but based on age no reason Silva and Nasri should not be in their prime now. We definitely had better strikers but more than that we had system of play and a squad of players suited to that system.

The fact we are even debating this when you consider the funds available over the last few years is depressing in itself.

De Bruyne. I feel Otamendi would be better than Lescott if he consistently had Kompany next to him. Apart from that, it's slim pickings.

Totally worth the 300m we've spent since Mancini left haha (Negredo is the one that gets a pass because he was excellent until March and we sold him on for a profit)

Mancini for his faults knew how to spend money. He knows his players. If he had got the backing MP got we'd probably (almost certainly) have a front 4 of Aguero, Hazard, Sanchez and Silva.
Even his signings that didn't end up working out like Boateng, Savic, Nastasic went on to do well. And it turns out he got the most out of Mario lol

PL - slim chance
CL - no chance what so fucking ever
FA - very slim chance
LC - slim chance

We should beat Liverpool there crap but if they press us we won't win.
Champs league... no chance.
Fa cup no we will loose at Chelsea.
League are we going to win every game and Leicester loose 2 I don't think so they've lost 3 in the last 4

If we perform to our potential, we might win the Capital One Cup as Liverpool are a very average side, like us at the moment. Sounds like the holistic one will be putting out a weak team at Chelsea in the FA Cup, so we'll get dicked there. Can anyone honestly see us winning the CL? No, me neither. And defending as we do (or don't do, to be more accurate), we won't win the PL.

We're winning fuck all. I'm sorry but Liverpool may blow hot and cold, but against us they will play like fuck. We can not match teams anymore if they play at a high intensity. No heart, desire or effort. We are a bunch of individuals who look like they are getting binned off at the end of this season. I'm dreading the next few games. Our team are a bunch of shit houses. I'm sorry but they are.

Only chance is at the Capital One Cup imo unless our youngsters perform a miracle against Chelsea in the FA Cup. We're just not playing like a team and as a result we won't win the league, and don't even get me started on how ungodly fucked we are in CL, in our current situation I'm not even convinced we'll get past Kiev.

People have been pointing out how great it is that we're still in all competitions but I honestly believe that might end up being our downfall, the busy schedule has lead to so many injuries and tired legs, we should probably have intentionally gotten knocked out of at least the FA Cup.
