It's funny, I feel the nervousness and "typical City" thoughts for the days leading up to games, thinking key players are injured that no one has mentioned, making sure I do everything the same as the last win - " for fucks sake was the toothpaste supposed to be brand side up?" "I can't bloody remember". Can't even properly prepare for an interview at work whist worrying about them overloading at the far post from corners.
And then, and this is where I agree with you, once the game starts I start to relax. Knowing and seeing just how good we are, even when we struggle a bit.
Just as so many of the players and staff are experienced at this stage of the season, perhaps its the same with thd fans
