6 -1=5 x 0=5 + 2=7 / 2 =3.5

The confusion people are having related to the / symbol. If you were writing this mathematically, you'd use a horizontal line. The length of the line would determine the answer.
If 6-1x0+2 is on the top line, with 2 underneath, it's different to if its written as 2/2 + 6-1x0

It's not like reading a book - left to right doesn't take precedence.

It's nothing to do with being thick, some people are good at things and not at others, being good at maths doesn't make you intelligent, do you need these skills? If no why bother, it doesn't bother me I can't spell.

I have nooo GCSES either, I didn't sit them. It used to bother me a lot, I had a great excuse at the time but I still felt like I'd missed out on something

Poor at maths, though i blame the Teachers.
No doubting their expertise but they shouldn't have
been anywhere near Children. Same goes for my English Teacher.
A **** of the highest order.
On the other hand my Teachers in Sociology and Geography
engaged me and i enjoyed their lessons immensely
Grade 1's in both......I wonder why???
Didn't matter a fuck anyway i ended up a plumber and passed
all my exams at M/Cr College of Building, maths included

ok lets have a go
4/4x4/4=1
4/4+4/4=2
(4+4+4)/4=3
(4-4)x4+4=4
(4x4+4)/4=5
sqrt(4)+4-4+4=6 <--- is this allowed? Technically square root symbol does not contain a number but it should really
4+4-4/4=7
4+4+4-4=8
4+4+4/4=9

i can't get rid of the extra 4 for 44/4=11
4!-4-4-4=12

Square root is allowed and helps with 11
